WHO WE ARE

Avondale United Methodist Church has been on the south side of Muncie since 1892. The neighborhood has seen a lot of changes since then. As manufacturing rose, so did the prospects of those who lived and worked here. When the industry fell, so did the spirit of those who remained. But the Spirit of God is at work here. Avondale UMC today finds its strength not in economic prosperity but the deep well of love the Holy Spirit provides. Out of this strength, we are rebuilding relationships, homes and lives once tempted to give in to despair. We invite you to join us in friendship. Share in our joy.
